Job Description

Vessel Details:
  • Single season, private 34m sailing yacht currently located in the South of France is searching for a permanent Sole Engineer to start around the 1st of August.
  • The vessel will be cruising the Mediterranean extensively for the duration of the Summer season with the Owner.
  • Fantastic multinational crew of 6 onboard.
Job Details:
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who has at least 2 full years yachting experience as an Engineer in a similar position onboard sailing vessels of similar size or larger.
  • This role requires a hands-on Engineer with experience in AV/IT, hydraulics and electrics as the vessel is very tech heavy.
  • For the right candidate, this position can turn rotational in the future. 
  • Preference will be given to candidates with sailing experience, however candidates who are keen to learn are welcome to apply.
Requirements:
  • A valid Schengen visa/European passport is required for this role.
  • An AEC1+AEC2 is the minimum requirement for this role.
  • Must have excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand.
  • Start date: 1st of August.
