Job Description

Vessel Details:

  • Dual season, private and charter 55 metre motor yacht currently searching for a Second Engineer.
  • The vessel is currently located in Florida completing a short shipyard period with plans to return to the Mediterranean for the upcoming Summer charter season.
  • Fun and dynamic crew of 12 onboard who have all given good longevity to their positions.
  • Salary: $6500 – $7500 (DOE) plus charter tips and a 5% annual bonus at the end of the Med season.

Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will be someone who is ‘hands-on’ and looking to learn from two very experienced and proactive Chief Engineers.
  • Prior experience as an engineer is essential and crew with experience as a Second Engineer is preferred for this role.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an MEOL or EOOW or higher engineering ticket.
  • Must hold a valid B1/B2 Visa in hand.
  • Permanent position with a standard MLC contract, offering 45 days leave per year and the possibility of becoming rotational for the right candidate.
  • Must have excellent verifiable references and all relevant certificates in hand.
  • Start date: ASAP.
