Job Description

Vessel Details:
  • Dual season, private (with plans to charter in the future) sailing catamaran currently located in Saint Maarten.
  • The vessel has plans to stay in the Caribbean for a few months before heading off to Miami.
  • Crew of 5 onboard – mixed nationalities.
Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience as a Deckhand onboard vessels of similar size or larger, however crew with no experience will be considered provided you have sailing experience and knowledge.
  • The Captain requires a team player who is passionate about sailing and water sports. A Dive Master qualification is beneficial, but not a requirement.
  • Prior sailing experience is beneficial.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a Yachtmaster ticket in hand.
  • A B1/B2 visa is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Permanent position with a standard MLC contract.
  • Must have excellent verifiable references.
  • Start date: ASAP
