Job Description

Seven Seas is currently recruiting for a strong Chief Stewardess to join a South of France based, 50m+ private yacht. The yacht has an exciting cruising itinerary for the Mediterranean Summer season, cruising to places such as Ibiza, St Tropez and the Amalfi Coast with the possibility of Caribbean seasons in the future. The yacht currently operates on a single season basis with Winters spent in the South of France.

As the Chief Stew, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the yacht’s interior onboard a private yacht of this size. Your responsibilities will include upholding the highest standards of guest service and your primary tasks will involve aiding guest activities and supervising a small team of stewardesses.

We are in search of a candidate with a minimum of 4/5 full years experience in yachting on yachts of similar size or exceeding 50 meters in length. The ideal crew member should possess strong leadership qualities and the capability to efficiently manage the interior department whilst leading a team of three Stewardesses.

The Owner requires a Chief Stewardess who is well presented, hands-on, and extremely professional at all times. Any other extra skills or hobbies that could benefit the vessel in any way are an added bonus! A strong track record accompanied by verifiable references is required for this role and the ideal crew member will be looking to give good longevity to the programme.

The yacht is offering a competitive salary with health insurance, a 13th month salary, 42 days leave per year (flexible) as well as a fantastic monthly pension contribution scheme. The yacht values longevity with many crew having spent more than 10 years with the Owner.


  • 4/5 years experience in yachting onboard yachts of 50m+ in length.
  • Valid Schengen visa/European passport.
  • All relevant certificates in hand with verifiable references.
