We are currently recruiting for an experienced charter Captain to join a very busy single season 21m Sunreef motor catamaran. This is a permanent position with a start date in around three weeks, offering a permanent contract with standard leave per year. The yacht is currently located in the Caribbean where it is based all year round for back-to-back charters.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience as a Captain on vessels of similar size. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to run a charter yacht of this size smoothly and effectively. You will need to be upbeat, versatile and positive with strong leadership skills to lead a crew of 4. The ideal candidate will be in couple with the Chef onboard and have proven experience working together as a couple! The previous couple were onboard for 5 years.

The yacht requires a Captain with strong engineering skills as you will required to manage the engineering side when needed. The ideal candidate will need to hold their Yachtmaster Ocean ticket as a minimum as well as an entry level engineering ticket.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Captain on similar sized motor yachts.
  • Excellent verifiable references.
  • All relevant certificates and visas in hand.
  • Start date: 25th of August.

This position present a fantastic opportunity for a Captain and Chef couple to work together in the Caribbean amongst a crew of 4. The role present fantastic salaries for both roles as well as an average of around €1800 per weekly charter!
